The 2026 IARSLCE Conference will take place on Loyola University’s campus at 6363 St Charles Avenue in the Uptown neighborhood of New Orleans. We have secured hotel blocks with discounted rates at Maison St. Charles and Hotel Tonnelle, both located along the historic St. Charles Avenue streetcar line, making your commute to the conference effortless and scenic.

Parking: Secure self-parking is available at a rate of $25 plus tax per vehicle per day.

Breakfast: Full American breakfast buffet offered at a rate of $14.99 plus tax per individual, per day.

Cancellation Policy: Full cancellation is allowed free of charge until Thursday, September 10, 2026 (30 days prior to arrival). Cancellations made between Friday, September 11, 2026 and Sunday, September 26, 2026 (29 to 14 days prior) will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to one night’s room and tax per room. Cancellations made from Monday, September 27, 2026 through the date of arrival (Saturday, October 10, 2026) will be subject to a cancellation fee equal to the full stay (100% of the room cost) No-show charges will also be equivalent to the total room charges for the entire period booked.

Parking: Valet parking offered at the prevailing rates, currently $48.00 per night or $25.00 per day. Valet parking is subject to space availability, and pricing excludes tax.

Cancellation Policy: Individual reservations cancelled within 72 hours of arrival will be charged a penalty equal to the first night’s room and tax. Individual reservations cancelled prior to 72 hours of arrival can be cancelled without penalty.

Getting from Hotel Tonnelle and Maison St. Charles to Loyola University is both scenic and straightforward, as the St. Charles Streetcar runs directly down St. Charles Avenue, bringing you directly from your hotel door to the conference venue. Step-by-Step Directions

  1. Catch the Streetcar: Exit the hotel and walk to the neutral ground (the grassy median in the center of St. Charles Ave). Stand on the side of the tracks where the streetcars are heading away from downtown (Uptown towards Loyola University).

  2. Boarding & Payment: Board through the front doors.

    • Cash: It is $1.25 and must be exact change. The driver cannot give change.

    • App: Pre-purchase your mobile ticket on the Le Pass app.

  3. Exit: As you approach the university, look for the large, Gothic-style stone buildings and the open green space of Audubon Park on your left.

    • Stop: Pull the signal cord (running along the windows) for the St. Charles at Tulane/Loyola stop.

    • Pro Tip: Loyola is immediately adjacent to Tulane University. If you miss the Loyola stop, the Tulane stop is only one block further.
