早期职业奖

Purpose: The Early Career Award acknowledges and celebrates intellectual leadership through an emerging body of work that has begun to demonstrate broad and deep impact on the study and/or practice of service-learning and community engagement, including the communities, cultures, and systems within which it is undertaken.

Eligibility: Any scholar who has received a terminal degree in their discipline or profession within the past seven (7) years with an established and growing body of significant contributions, indicating promise for field-building. “Scholar” as used here encompasses those who self-define as “researchers,” “scholars,” or “practitioner-scholars” and does not imply any particular academic status.

Evaluation Criteria

  1. 展现出高质量研究与学术成果的广度与深度,具体体现为:在(a)一项或多项开创性研究中,以及(b)整体学术成果(包括但不限于传统学术产出与发表平台)中,提出具有重要意义的学术问题,扎实运用(或构建)理论或概念框架,并采用创新性的探究与分析方法。

  2. 对研究与学术的影响,具体体现为:(a) 在塑造地方、国家及/或国际学术议程中的作用;(b) 其成果被其他学者采纳及/或改编的情况。

  3. 对社区参与实践和/或政策的影响,具体体现为:(a) 在会议或其他专业发展场合的贡献;(b) 教学、指导及与从业者合作的记录;(c) 创建和/或应用解决实践挑战的概念框架或工具。

  4. 新兴领导力体现在以下方面:(a)声誉(地方、国家及/或国际层面),(b)协作精神,以及(c)对高质量研究与学术原则、以及高质量社区参与原则的恪守。

  5. 计划持续开展高质量工作,有望为该研究领域作出后续贡献。

  6. A demonstrated commitment to justice-centered scholarship and the inclusion of diverse perspectives in the formative stages of their research agenda.

Nomination Packet

  1. 由学术同仁、学生和/或社区合作伙伴撰写的提名信(不超过两页),概述被提名人的贡献,并阐明其在推进知识、深化研究与实践以及/或影响政策方面的意义(欢迎联合署名信函)。

    1. The nomination should be made by a current IARSLCE member.

  2. 一封推荐信(不超过一页),证明候选人研究工作的质量与影响力(欢迎联合署名信函)。我们欢迎与学者研究工作最密切相关或受其影响最深的个人/机构提供推荐信。

  3. 一份出版物或其他学术成果,该成果应体现候选人的工作成果,并符合奖项评选标准。

  4. 候选人陈述(不超过两页),阐述研究目的、研究方法、研究成果及未来方向(可选)

  5. 候选人最新版本的简历或履历。
