杰出职业成就奖

Purpose: The Distinguished Career Award acknowledges and celebrates intellectual leadership through a body of work that has broad and deep impact on the study and/or practice of service-learning and community engagement, including the communities, cultures, and systems within which it is undertaken. 

Eligibility: Any scholar (or team of scholars) with a distinguished body of high-impact contributions, indicating sustained field-building commitment and activity. “Scholar” as used here encompasses those who self-define as “researchers,” “scholars,” or “practitioner-scholars” and does not imply any particular academic status.

Evaluation Criteria

  1. Depth and breadth of high-quality research and scholarship as indicated by significant question(s), development of theoretical or conceptual frameworks, and innovative methods of inquiry and analysis in (a) one or more seminal works and (b) total body of work (including but not limited to traditional products and venues).

  2. 对研究与学术的影响体现在以下方面：(a) 在塑造地方、国家及/或国际学术议程中的作用；(b) 其成果被其他学者采纳和/或改编的情况；(c) 在提升他人开展高质量研究与学术活动能力方面的作用；(d) 提供学术机会（例如通过研究中心、期刊、会议、资助项目等）；(e) 引文模式。

  3. 对社区参与实践和/或政策的影响，具体体现为：(a) 在会议或其他专业发展场合的贡献；(b) 教学、指导及与从业者合作的记录；(c) 创建和/或应用解决实践挑战的概念框架或工具；(d) 在变革进程中的作用（涵盖教育机构内部及/或外部）。

  4. 领导力体现在以下方面：(a) 声誉（地方、国家及/或国际层面）；(b) 协作精神；(c) 领域影响力；(d) 对高质量研究与学术以及高质量社区参与原则的恪守；(e) 持续贡献。

  5. Evidence of a career-long commitment to mentoring diverse scholars and using one’s platform to challenge systemic barriers in the field.

Nomination Packet

  1. 由学术同仁、学生和/或社区合作伙伴撰写的提名信（不超过两页），概述被提名人的贡献，并阐明其在推进知识、深化研究与实践以及/或影响政策方面的意义（欢迎联合署名信函）。

    1. The nomination should be made by a current IARSLCE member.

  2. 一封推荐信（不超过一页），证明候选人研究工作的质量与影响力（欢迎联合署名信函）。我们欢迎与学者研究工作最密切相关或受其影响最深的个人/机构提供推荐信。

  3. 候选人最新版本的简历或履历。
